Children’s Ministries – Service/Program Info
The Children’s Ministries department at Williams Lake seeks to teach kids about the incredible and unconditional love Jesus has for them. Our goal is to come alongside families to teach their children not only who Jesus is, but how to build a relationship with Him and how to share the love that Jesus has for us with their friends and family.  Our services for infants through fifth grade are inclusive and engage children through creative storytelling, video clips, object lessons, science experiments, games and contemporary music.
Safety of your children is of the highest concern in our children’s ministries programs at Williams Lake.  All children who attend our programs are signed in and out through our designated sign in system.  When you arrive to each children’s ministry area, our children’s ministry volunteers will be there to assist with signing in your children as you drop them off.  At the end of a church service or program, children will not be released until they are signed out and picked up by a designated adult (age 18 and older).  Children will not be released to anyone who is not designated on their contact card.  This is to ensure the safety of your child.
All of our volunteers are background checked and screened to provide the highest quality of care for the children who attend our programs.  Williams Lake also trains all of our children’s ministry volunteers with the Nazarene Safe program, which was created by the Church of the Nazarene.  It is our goal to do all that we can to keep your kids safe while they are in our care.

Parents are always welcome to come and observe our ministry programs at Williams Lake!  We are always looking for more volunteers to shine a light into the life of children.  If you have a passion for sharing about Jesus with children and families, please see our Director of Children’s Ministries for more information!
